Why general contractors and developers bring us in

  • Preconstruction input. We review drawings early, flag coordination issues and offer value-engineering options before they become change orders.
  • Crews sized to the schedule. Licensed E-1 and E-2 electricians run the work.
  • Bonded and insured for multifamily and commercial work across Connecticut.
  • Owner-operated. Dan Sunderland is involved in every project, and he and his team are readily available to customers any time, day or night.

Beyond multifamily

Our crews have also delivered work for VA federal hospitals in West Haven, Newington and Boston, Yale, Restoration Hardware and Buffalo Wild Wings, along with industrial, municipal and retail fit-out projects.

Frequently asked questions

What kind of projects do you take on?

Multifamily and mixed-use construction is our core business: ground-up apartment buildings, apartments over retail, adaptive-reuse conversions and student housing. We have built more than 1,000 apartment units across Connecticut since 2004, and we also take healthcare, retail, industrial and commercial work.

What parts of the electrical scope do you cover?

The full package: service and distribution, meter centers, apartment unit wiring, common-area and amenity lighting, fire alarm and life-safety systems, low voltage, and site lighting and EV charging.

What areas do you serve?

Projects throughout Connecticut, centered on New Haven and Hartford counties.

Do you do retail and commercial electrical work?

Yes. Beyond multifamily, we build retail and restaurant fit-outs and provide commercial electrical service, repairs and upgrades for commercial properties across Connecticut. We do not do residential work.

Can you install EV chargers at an apartment building?

Yes. We design and install EV charging for multifamily and commercial properties, using load management so chargers work with the building’s existing service.
